Repeat Prescriptions
Patients who need repeat prescriptions can either:
- Order them at the desk
- Post them by hand in the post boxes provided
- Send them in via Royal Mail (please give at least 7 working days for requests sent in by Royal Mail)
- Fax a request to 01744 624382
- Order online via the link at the top of this page
The housebound can, by special arrangement, have their prescription requests brought into surgery by the chemist.
We need a minimum of 48 working hours notice to process prescription requests. Please note, requests received on Fridays, will not be available for collection until after 14:00 on Tuesdays.
Prescriptions can be collected from the Annex on Thursday afternoons when the main surgery is closed.
The Practice will only accept early medication requests for repeat prescriptions up to 7 days prior to their next issue date. Any requests earlier than 7 days (excluding prior agreements such as early requests due to holidays etc) will be rejected.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
